Events - David Kidney's visit to Doxey Primary School
On Wednesday 23rd September, David Kidney visited Doxey Primary School to meet with the children. He began with a tour of the school led by Katie Myatt and George Storey, the recently appointed Head Boy and Head Girl. The tour included visiting every classroom, looking at the new solar panels on the roof and visiting Reception Classes vegetable patch.

David Kidney then met with the school council led by Miss Mottram whereby they explained their role to him within the school and asked him questions about his job. David Kidney was particularly impressed with the improvements Doxey School’s children had made with regards to becoming more eco-friendly. Mr Kidney was then heading to London for a discussion in parliament where he assured the children any issues raised during his visit would be discussed.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and look forward to seeing him again in the future.
